The Firm can point to a professional tradition stretching back more than one hundred years. Founded in the early 20th century by Antonio Orlandi, who had already gained noteworthy experience as an associate with the law firm of Prime Minister Alessandro Fortis, the Firm was operated as a law firm, in association with the founder’s son, Goffredo Orlandi-Contucci, from 1938 to 1968. Goffredo Orlandi-Contucci continued practicing law on his own until 1993, when the Firm was transformed into a law and tax concern.
In 1996, following the death of Goffredo Orlandi Contucci, who had focussed the Firm’s legal operations on banking law for more than 40 years, primarily as an outside consultant to the Banco di Roma, the Firm was converted, in its last transformation, into a tax and labour consulting firm by Antonio Orlandi-Contucci, the grandson of the founder.
